According to CCTV, Sierra Leone President Julius Maada Bio reaffirmed his country’s determination to support the One China policy, emphasizing that Taiwan is an integral part of China.

In a special interview with China Media Group (CMG) at the UN headquarters in New York, Bio outlined Sierra Leone’s long-standing position on the Taiwan issue.

Bio stated: “We have been very firm in our commitment to the One China policy. We believe this is the ultimate solution and what we continue to support is the One China policy.”

Stressing that Taiwan is part of China, Bio said that the Taiwan issue is entirely an internal matter of China.
