Government program in the Netherlands debated in the Senate
Amsterdam, April 7 (Hibya) - Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten announced that after the discussions held in the House of Representatives during the first week regarding the government program, the process is continuing in the Senate.
Dutch Prime Minister Jetten made a statement regarding the legislative process carried out after the government took office.
Jetten stated that during the government’s first week, discussions were held with the Tweede Kamer on the government program, and that today the same issue is being addressed on the agenda of the Eerste Kamer.
Prime Minister Jetten noted that among those representing the government in the Senate discussions are Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius, Minister Bart van den Brink, and Finance Minister Eelco Heinen.
It was reported that discussions on the government program are being continued in both chambers of parliament with the aim of completing the legislative process.
