Istanbul, September 4 (Hibya) - A downward trend in precious metals stood out in global markets. According to CNBC data, gold was trading at $4,516.70 per ounce, down 0.51 percent on the day.

Silver fell to $67.32 per ounce, recording a daily decline of 0.57 percent.
Copper traded at $6.6585 per pound, down 0.09 percent.
Platinum fell to $1,813.20, losing 1.13 percent. Palladium also declined to $1,422.50, with its daily loss recorded at 1.21 percent.
CNBC data showed a “downward trend” in gold, silver, copper, platinum and palladium.
