Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Greek Foreign Minister Gerapetritis made statements within the framework of the Informal Meeting of EU Foreign Ministers (Gymnich) held in Limassol, Cyprus.

Gerapetritis stated that the European Union needs to enhance its “strategic autonomy” capacity in the face of multiple crises and global tensions, noting that this concept should include competitiveness, resilience, and solidarity together.

He emphasized that the EU should develop a “360-degree foreign policy” in order to be effective not only regionally but also globally, drawing particular attention to the importance of relations with the Global South.

In his speech, the Greek Foreign Minister stated that international law must be applied universally and that attacks against civilians and infrastructure are unacceptable. He also stressed that the international community should adopt a common and strong stance against what he described as “revisionism.”

Gerapetritis also noted that meetings to be held within the scope of the gathering with the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and India were important, adding that Greece is developing strategic relations with these countries.
