Frieden spoke with Lebanese Prime Minister Salam
Luxembourg, April 1 (Hibya) – Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden held a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam.
Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden stated that they stand in full solidarity with Lebanon and the Lebanese people.
Frieden emphasized that Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected and that civilians and civilian infrastructure must always be protected in accordance with international humanitarian law.
Frieden also noted that it is of urgent importance to reduce tensions in order to prevent the humanitarian situation from worsening further.
