De Wever: Let's act responsibly during the hot weather
Brussels, June 26 (Hibya) - Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever called on citizens to exercise caution during the ongoing heatwave.
Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever issued warnings to the public due to the hot weather.
De Wever said, “Today will be extremely hot. So please act responsibly: postpone strenuous activities, drink plenty of water, and take good care of yourselves and each other.”
Highlighting the importance of healthcare workers during periods of extreme heat, De Wever stated, “This will protect our health and ease the burden on our emergency services and healthcare workers, who are doing their utmost today under difficult conditions.”
Thanking the community, De Wever said, “I extend my sincere thanks and respect to them and to everyone who keeps our society functioning during this hot weather.”
He concluded his message by saying, “Please also make sure that animals have enough water to drink.”
