Pakistan Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar made a statement regarding the meeting held with Chinese President Xi Jinping as part of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to China and the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Expressing his pleasure at meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping, Dar said, “I was honored to meet President Xi Jinping yesterday during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to China. We shared warm sentiments about the enduring and time-tested friendship between Pakistan and China.”

Emphasizing the fundamental dynamics and future of relations between the two countries, Minister Dar stated, “Pakistan deeply values the strength of the Pakistan-China all-weather strategic cooperative partnership. Our friendship continues to grow stronger on the basis of mutual respect, shared aspirations, and our unwavering commitment to regional peace, connectivity, and economic progress.”
