Ottawa, August 20 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that approximately 6 million children across the country are receiving support through the Canada Child Benefit.

Carney said in a post that the payments would be deposited into parents’ bank accounts today.
Carney stated that the support would help families cover groceries, clothing and other household expenses.
