Ottawa, August 9 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney issued a message of support for citizens and emergency response teams in regions affected by wildfires.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, in a statement regarding the ongoing wildfire disaster across the province, addressed the assistance being provided to citizens who have been forced to evacuate and the efforts of personnel working on the ground.
Highlighting the efforts being carried out through regional cooperation, Carney said, "In partnership with the Government of British Columbia, we are helping people across the province who have been forced to leave their homes and communities."
Expressing solidarity with citizens and teams in the wildfire-affected areas, Carney concluded his statement by saying, "To those affected by the fires, and to the brave firefighters and first responders on the ground: All Canadians are with you."
