Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baqaei shared his assessments of hostile policies following attacks on the country’s strategic and cultural sectors.

Referring to the purpose of the attacks, Baqaei said: "Can attacks on schools, universities, and hospitals, and threats of sending us back to the Stone Age, be interpreted in any way other than as hatred toward Iran and Iranians?! Unfortunately, some of our citizens, under the influence of the false propaganda of the Zionist regime and the United States, have developed incorrect understandings of the reasons and objectives of the aggressors."

Criticizing enemy rhetoric and the scope of the attacks, Baqaei stated: "The targeting of the Iranian nation in the statements of figures such as Lindsey Graham and Steve Bannon, as well as in the remarks of American officials, together with unprecedented attacks on schools, hospitals, and healthcare centers such as the Pasteur Institute, have removed all doubt about the true nature of this war."

Baqaei said: "The war imposed on Iran by the United States and Israel has no purpose other than destroying Iran and Iranians."

Emphasizing the importance of defending the homeland, Baqaei concluded:

"Iranians have proven that they possess an unbreakable will to defend their homeland and honor and to repel aggressive enemies. Iran is our mother and an eternal legacy preserved through the sacrifice and dedication of the noblest sons of this land and waters, and with God’s will, it will remain so forever."
