Albares comments on language status in Europe
Madrid, September 16 (Hibya) - Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares claimed that the People’s Party (PP) supports those imposing what he described as unjustified border checks on Spaniards and is seeking to block Catalan, Basque and Galician from becoming official languages in Europe.
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares said in a statement that the People’s Party (PP) supports those carrying out border checks that he considers unjustified for Spaniards.
Albares also claimed that the PP is obstructing the process of recognizing Catalan, Basque and Galician as official languages of the European Union.
