According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone conversation with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

The two sides discussed cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and explored ways to further strengthen ties.

The call particularly addressed efforts related to a ceasefire between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as ways to reduce tensions.
