Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

According to a statement by the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the foreign ministers of 16 countries reacted to Israel’s announcement of appointing a diplomatic envoy to “Somaliland”.

The statement noted that the foreign ministers of the State of Qatar, the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Federal Republic of Somalia, the Republic of Sudan, the State of Libya, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, the State of Palestine, the Republic of Türkiye, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Sultanate of Oman adopted a joint stance.

The statement emphasized that Israel’s attempt to appoint a diplomatic representative to Somaliland constitutes a clear violation of Somalia’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, and condemned the move.

It also stressed the rejection of unilateral actions that violate state sovereignty and expressed support for Somalia’s unity and its legitimate state institutions.

The statement further underlined that the move is inconsistent with the UN Charter and the principles of the African Union, could threaten stability in the Horn of Africa, and negatively affect regional peace and security.
