According to CCTV, Gaza-based health authorities said that at least 14 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that the strikes resulted in the death of a senior member of the Palestinian Islamic Movement in the area.

According to a statement from the Israeli military wing, the attacks were carried out following a failed attempt to launch a rocket from the Gaza Strip toward an area where Israeli forces were operating.

Health officials reported that among the 14 Palestinians killed were five children, and that 17 people were injured in attacks over the past 24 hours.

Officials also noted that some victims remain trapped under the rubble or in areas inaccessible to rescue teams.
