Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made statements regarding the intensifying attacks by the Russian army on critical infrastructure and residential areas, as well as ongoing repair efforts across the country.

Highlighting the scale of the attacks, Zelensky said: “Throughout this week, Russia launched approximately 1,100 attack drones, more than 890 guided aerial bombs, and over 50 missiles of various types—ballistic, cruise, and even the Oreshnik medium-range ballistic missile—against Ukraine. This is deliberate and cynical Russian terror aimed particularly at civilians.”

Assessing the situation on the ground, Zelensky added: “Energy workers and repair teams are working day and night to meet people’s needs for electricity, heat, and water. I am grateful to everyone involved in these efforts.”

Zelensky concluded: “At this moment, strengthening our internal resilience and defense is especially important. Ukraine needs steady support for our defense and coordinated diplomacy in the name of peace.”
