Referring to the main agenda items of the international contacts held throughout the week, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that all meetings were aimed at protecting the Ukrainian people and strengthening the country's defense capacity.

Sharing the concrete outcomes of diplomatic initiatives, Zelensky said: "Every meeting focused on how to better protect our people, how to support our warriors, and how to bring the end of the war closer."

Drawing attention to the financial and military contributions provided, as well as new restrictive measures against Russia, Zelensky said: "Nine countries announced contributions totaling approximately $1 billion. This is exactly what is most needed right now. We also worked on increasing pressure on Russia."

Zelensky added: "New sanctions have come from the United Kingdom and Canada, and we are actively engaged in dialogue with the EU to ensure that the 21st sanctions package arrives sooner and restricts Russia where it will be felt the most."
