Zelensky met with Serbian President Vucic
Kyiv, May 20 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky evaluated bilateral relations with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.
President Zelensky stated that bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed during the meeting and expressed that there was a shared understanding that the relations should be strong.
It was reported that the parties see potential for developing relations and that efforts will be made in this direction.
Zelensky said: "In the coming days, the representative appointed as Deputy Prime Minister of the Ukrainian Government for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration will work in Belgrade. We are counting on mutually beneficial agreements, including restarting negotiations on a free trade zone with Serbia. The President also spoke about his diplomatic agenda for the near future. We decided to stay in touch."
