Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez made a statement regarding the images involving individuals taking part in the international flotilla organized in support of Gaza.

Prime Minister Sanchez stated that the images shared by Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir were unacceptable, saying, "The images of Israeli minister Ben Gvir humiliating the members of the international flotilla supporting Gaza are unacceptable. We will not tolerate the mistreatment of our citizens. In September, I announced that this member of the Israeli government would be banned from entering our national territory. Now, in Brussels, we will push for these sanctions to be urgently expanded to the European level."
