Zelensky: Japan Stood by Ukraine and Provided Support to Our People
Kyiv, February 27 (Hibya) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with Japan’s newly elected Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, expressing gratitude for the support Japan has provided during the ongoing war with Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had his first meeting with Japan’s Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi since her appointment.
Highlighting Japan’s meaningful support for the Ukrainian people since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Zelensky described Japan as a leading actor both regionally and globally.
Touching on the importance of the partnership between the two countries, Zelensky said, "We highly value our partnership and look forward to hosting the Prime Minister in Ukraine at the appropriate time."
