Arakchi: Spoke with Egyptian counterpart Abdelatty on the phone
Tehran, February 27 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Seyyed Abbas Arakchi held a phone call with Egypt's Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty.
According to a statement from the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Arakchi had a phone conversation with his Egyptian counterpart, Badr Abdelatty.
During the phone call, Arakchi provided his Egyptian counterpart with updates on the recent developments in the indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States, particularly the latest meeting in Geneva.
Reaffirming Iran’s commitment to resolving issues through diplomacy, Arakchi noted that success in this regard requires seriousness and realism from the other side, as well as avoiding any miscalculations and excessive demands.
