Providing an update on the situation in Myla village, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the fires had largely been extinguished and that explosive ordnance disposal teams were working on the ground around the clock.

Reporting on the toll of the attack and the ongoing operations, Zelensky said, "Work to address the damage caused by the Russian attack on Myla village in the Kyiv region is continuing without interruption. First responders managed to extinguish most of the fires."

Stating that the work would continue, Zelensky said, "The State Emergency Service's explosive ordnance disposal units are also working at the site 24 hours a day to identify and neutralize explosive hazards. The scale of contamination in the area is significant, and this work will continue for as long as necessary."

Sharing details on the fatalities and search operations, Zelensky said, "Unfortunately, 38 people are reported to have lost their lives in the attack and the explosion that followed. I offer my condolences to their families and loved ones. Twenty people, including two children, were injured. Four people are reported missing. The search for them is continuing."

Zelensky concluded his statement by saying, "I am grateful to all the services that remain by our people's side and continue to provide assistance."
