Dutch Defense Minister Dilan Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said horrifying images have emerged from Ukraine following Russia's air strikes, stressing that lasting peace can only be achieved by keeping Ukraine strong rather than rewarding aggression.

Drawing attention to the destruction and humanitarian impact caused by the attacks, Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said, "There are no limits to Putin's brutality. Horrifying images have emerged from Ukraine following another night of Russia's aerial terror. Once again, there are many dead and injured, including children."

Pointing to the approach that should be followed to establish peace in the region, Minister Yeşilgöz-Zegerius said, "Peace is achieved not by rewarding aggression, but by keeping Ukraine strong."
