According to a statement by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi received a copy of the credentials of the Republic of Maldives' Ambassador to Qatar, Adam Shareef Umar.

During the meeting held in Doha, Al Muraikhi wished Ambassador Umar success in his new role. The meeting also reaffirmed the commitment to further developing bilateral relations and strengthening cooperation between the two countries across various fields.

Al Muraikhi stated that Qatar stands ready to provide all necessary support to enhance bilateral relations and promote closer cooperation between the two countries.
