Van Weel: Diplomacy begins with learning
Seoul, February 10 (Hibya) – Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel met with young diplomats at the Korea National Diplomatic Academy to discuss threats to the global order and the importance of strategic partnerships.
Dutch Foreign Minister David van Weel met with aspiring young diplomats in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, as part of his Asia visit.
Assessing the pressures on the international order during his meeting with young diplomats, Van Weel said, “In a more contested world, diplomacy begins with learning. At the Korea National Diplomatic Academy, I spoke with young Korean diplomats about the pressures on the international order and why like-minded partners matter.”
Van Weel concluded his remarks by saying, “It is great to exchange views with the new generation.”
