UN Secretary-General Guterres sends condolences to the Emir of Qatar
New York, July 12 (Hibya) - United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres extended his condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, following the death of Qatar's former Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Antonio Guterres issued a message of condolence following the death of Qatar's former Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Guterres said, "I was deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Qatar's former Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. He was a visionary and transformative leader for his country and its people."
Guterres added, "I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and to the Government and people of Qatar."
