UN: Full food aid reaches Gaza for the first time
New York, January 10 (Hibya) – The United Nations announced that, for the first time since the war began, the World Food Programme (WFP) has been able to distribute full food assistance in Gaza.
The UN said that since the start of the war, the WFP has delivered full food rations to Gaza for the first time.
Following the ceasefire, humanitarian organizations have managed to provide vital food assistance to more than one million people every month.
WFP officials noted that this step represents a small but important contribution in addressing hunger in the region.
