UAE Ministry of Defense signs strategic partnership agreement with Gulf Pharmaceutical Company
Abu Dhabi, July 13 (Hibya) - The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense signed a strategic partnership agreement with Gulf Pharmaceutical Company as part of the 46th World Congress on Military Medicine, which will be held in Abu Dhabi from November 9 to 13, 2026.
The UAE Ministry of Defense announced that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Gulf Pharmaceutical Company, a healthcare sector enterprise.
According to the ministry's statement, the agreement covers support for the organization of the 46th World Congress on Military Medicine, which Abu Dhabi will host from November 9 to 13, 2026. Under the agreement, Gulf Pharmaceutical Company will serve as the congress's "Strategic Partner."
The signing ceremony was attended by senior officials from both sides, including Major General Aisha Sultan Al Zahiri, Chairperson of the Military Health Executive Council and Chair of the Higher Organizing Committee for the World Congress on Military Medicine Abu Dhabi 2026, and Gulf Pharmaceutical Company CEO Lubeib Othman.
The Ministry of Defense stated that the partnership aims to strengthen the network of organizations supporting the congress and enhance cooperation with national institutions operating in the fields of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and medical technologies.
The statement added that Gulf Pharmaceutical Company's expertise in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare services will contribute to the congress, with the partnership intended to enhance medical preparedness, support innovation in treatment and pharmaceuticals, and strengthen cooperation between military and civilian healthcare systems.
