Global bond markets move higher
Istanbul, July 13 (Hibya) - Global bond markets showed an upward trend on the first trading day of the week.
Global bond markets saw higher 10-year government bond yields in the United States, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and France on the first trading day of the week.
The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield (US 10-YR) rose by 0.018 percentage points to 4.587%. Germany's 10-year Bund yield (Bund 10-YR) gained 0.0043 percentage points to 3.0385%.
Japan's 10-year government bond yield (JPN 10-YR) traded at 2.774% after rising by 0.007 percentage points, while the U.K. 10-year gilt yield (UK 10-YR) increased by 0.06 percentage points to 4.9315%.
France's 10-year government bond yield (FRA 10-YR) also rose by 0.0075 percentage points to 3.8365%.
