Tsahkna: Even the idea of appointing an EU special representative to Russia is dangerous
Tallinn, January 14 (Hibya) — Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna said that even putting forward the idea of appointing a special representative of the European Union (EU) to Russia is dangerous.
Estonian Foreign Minister Tsahkna stated that even raising the idea of appointing an EU special representative to Russia is dangerous.
Recalling that in the past every “reset” and dialogue was perceived by Russia as a concession and only whetted its appetite, Tsahkna said: “We must not repeat this mistake. What we need right now is not dialogue, but stronger pressure.”
