Tsahkna: Estonia is ready to share its digital expertise with Syria
Tallinn, May 12 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna delivered a message of cooperation following the first high-level political dialogue between the European Union (EU) and Syria.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna referred to the importance of the meeting held for the future of relations between the two sides.
Emphasizing the importance of political dialogue, Tsahkna said: “Yesterday, we participated in the first high-level political dialogue between the EU and Syria; this is an important step toward closer practical cooperation.”
Sharing views on Syria’s stabilization process and Estonia’s potential contributions to this process, Tsahkna stated: “The EU should actively cooperate with the Syrian government to support an inclusive and peaceful transition and help the country achieve stability.”
Referring to his country’s stance on the matter, Tsahkna noted: “Estonia is ready, among other things, to share its digital expertise.”
