US President Donald Trump said that the reason for the decline in CNN and MSNBC’s ratings is their lack of credibility.

Trump claimed that CNN and MSNBC report only negative news about him. Trump also made various assessments regarding his election victory and claimed that the achievements during his term had increased his popularity.

Trump said that CNN and MSNBC did not cover the arrival of Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan at the White House, claiming that they avoided broadcasting it because they knew the event would be successful.

Arguing that this attitude is one of the reasons for the two media outlets’ low ratings, Trump said that the official dinner to be held at the White House in honor of Xi Jinping would also take place and that members of the media would be present at the event.
