US President Trump alleged that Iran is conducting media manipulation and artificial intelligence-supported disinformation campaigns.

Claiming that Iran produces fake images using artificial intelligence, Trump said: “They may be weak militarily, but they are quite good at feeding false information to the fake news media. They showed so-called kamikaze boats firing at ships at sea. The footage looks powerful, but these boats do not actually exist.”

Trump also claimed that some media outlets had published false reports that US aircraft had been shot down, adding: “The US refueling aircraft that were said to have been shot down and heavily damaged are still in service.”

Stating that he supports reviewing the broadcast licenses of some media outlets, Trump said: “These organizations continue to spread lies using American broadcast frequencies.”
