Tajani sends condolences over the death of Norway’s King Harald V
Rome, August 28 (Hibya) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani extended his condolences to Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide following the death of Norway’s King Harald V.
Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that he had contacted his counterpart Espen Barth Eide following the death of Norway’s King Harald V and conveyed his condolences to the Royal Family and the Norwegian people.
Referring to the message he conveyed to his counterpart, Tajani said, “I extended my deepest condolences over the passing of His Majesty King Harald V.”
Highlighting the late King’s role in his country, Tajani said, “He was a great figure of authority who guided Norway through important periods of transformation.”
Tajani concluded his statement by saying, “My condolences and those of Italy go to King Haakon VIII, Queen Sonja, the Royal Family and all the Norwegian people.”
