Syria condemns drone attacks against Bahrain and Kuwait
Damascus, June 3 (Hibya) - The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the targeting of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait with Iranian unmanned aerial vehicles.
In a statement issued by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was said that targeting civilians and infrastructure constitutes a clear violation of the principles of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.
The statement called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to prevent similar attacks from recurring. It added that such measures would contribute to preserving regional peace and security, as well as maintaining stability in the region.
The statement also emphasized Syria’s solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait.
