Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, as part of his engagements in the Khmelnytskyi region, visited a house in Stavnytsia built for children living with a foster family.

Sybiha said the house, built as part of the Olena Zelenska Foundation's “Room for Childhood” initiative, includes features designed to ensure children's safety under wartime conditions. He noted that the house has a dual-purpose shelter that provides protection during air raids and can be used for the family's daily needs at other times. “Security and normal life must coexist, especially for children,” Sybiha said.

Thanking Slovenia and Foreign Minister Tomaz Kajzer for their support for Ukraine, Sybiha emphasized the importance of international partnerships reaching communities in Ukraine directly. “Projects like this connect our international partnership directly with communities in Ukraine and show what sustained support can achieve on the ground,” Sybiha said.

Sybiha said these visits aim to attract greater international attention, diplomatic presence and investment to Ukraine's regions. “Grounding our foreign policy in the real needs of people across the country and turning international partnerships into tangible results is at the heart of our regional visits,” he said.
