Spain’s Foreign Minister Albares meets with IAEA Director General Grossi
Madrid, January 14 (Hibya) — Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, met with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi to discuss nuclear safety issues and the United Nations agenda.
Spain’s Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares issued a statement regarding his meeting with IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi.
Sharing the main items on the agenda, Albares said: “I held a meeting with Rafael Mariano Grossi. We discussed the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear facility in Ukraine and Iran’s nuclear program.”
Emphasizing cooperation with international institutions, Albares added: “I also conveyed my support for the United Nations. We discussed the upcoming election of the UN Secretary-General as well.”
