Damascus, July 15 (Hibya) - Syrian Deputy Minister of Defense Major General Mohammed Khair Shuaib met with Colonel Hasan Göz, the Military Attaché at the Turkish Embassy in Damascus.

According to a statement by the Syrian Ministry of Defense, the meeting focused on the current state of military relations between the two countries and the steps that could be taken to strengthen and further develop those relations.
The statement added that the parties also discussed expanding areas of military cooperation and joint coordination.
