Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez announced on his social media account that the number of people who lost their lives in the earthquakes has risen to 4,734.
Rodriguez said that 16,740 people were injured in the disasters, 6,462 were rescued, and 17,907 were left homeless.
It was also reported that 1,275 aftershocks have been recorded in Venezuela since the earthquakes.
