Sharif: We are ready to provide every possible support and assistance
Islamabad, August 27 (Hibya) - Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended condolences to the Chinese leadership and people over the deaths caused by floods and landslides in China's border region. Sharif said Pakistan was ready to provide all possible support for search and rescue operations.

In his statement, Sharif said, “On behalf of the government and people of Pakistan, I extend my deepest condolences to the leadership and people of China.”
Sharif said the loss of life and missing persons had caused profound sorrow, adding, “This tragedy reflects our deep grief and solidarity with our Chinese brothers.”
Sharif said search and rescue operations were continuing and that Pakistan was “ready to provide every possible support and assistance.” He offered condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and wished the injured a speedy recovery and the missing persons a safe return.
