Sandu in Kyiv on Ukraine’s Independence Day
Kyiv, August 24 (Hibya) - Moldovan President Maia Sandu announced that she was in Kyiv on the occasion of Ukraine’s 35th Independence Day.

Sandu said that while Ukrainians celebrate their independence, they also commemorate those who lost their lives on the same day. Stating that Ukraine has paid a high price for its freedom, Sandu said Ukraine continues to fight, resist and develop innovations.
Sandu expressed hope that the next anniversary of independence would be celebrated in peace.
