Saar: I congratulate the decision to establish the Somaliland Embassy in Jerusalem
Jerusalem, May 19 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar congratulated Somaliland President Cabdiraxmaan Cirro on the decision to establish the Somaliland Embassy in Jerusalem, stating that they would work together to implement the decision as soon as possible.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar made statements regarding Somaliland’s decision to open an embassy and the diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Referring to the contribution of the decision to bilateral relations, Saar said, “The opening of the embassy in Jerusalem will be another important step toward strengthening relations between our countries and peoples. We will work together to implement this decision as soon as possible.”
Highlighting the international dimension of the move, Minister Saar stated, “This will make the Somaliland Embassy the eighth embassy in Jerusalem.”
Inviting the Somaliland President, Saar concluded his statement by saying, “Mr. President, we look forward to welcoming you soon to our eternal capital, Jerusalem.”
