Russian Defense Ministry: Control of Luhansk fully established
Moscow, April 2 (Hibya) - The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Wednesday that full control has been established over the entire Luhansk region.
According to CCTV, Russia’s “West” military group has fully taken control of the Luhansk region. The ministry also reported that the settlements of Verkhnyaya Pisarevka in the Kharkiv region and Boykovo in the Zaporizhzhia region have come under Russian control.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky should withdraw his forces from the Donbas region.
Peskov said, “As we have stated, he must take responsibility and make this difficult decision. This could save many lives.”
Ukrainian President Zelensky said on Monday that Russia had put forward demands for a “withdrawal from Donbas within two months.”
