UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell emphasized that during her meeting with Director General Fahad Al-Sulaiti and Permanent Representative Alya Al-Thani, they focused particularly on children's access to education and rehabilitation processes in crisis regions.

Providing information about the meeting, Russell said, “We had a productive meeting with Director General Fahad Al-Sulaiti and Permanent Representative Alya Al-Thani to strengthen our partnership with Qatar.”

Drawing attention to the regions and objectives covered by the cooperation, Russell stated, “We are working together to expand support for children in Gaza, Afghanistan, Yemen, and beyond, with a particular focus on education and recovery.”
