UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell visited the Jordan River Foundation center in Amman, the capital of Jordan.

Russell said she met 5-year-old Adam at the center, stating, “Adam is 5 years old. He is looking forward to starting school and making new friends.”

Russell said that other children and mothers also come to the center alongside Adam, noting that early childhood development support makes an important difference for children and families. Russell said, “Adam and other children, along with their mothers, come to the Jordan River Foundation center in Amman, where early childhood development support is making a real difference.”
