Czech crown jewels returned to the Crown Chamber
Prague, September 29 (Hibya) - Czech President Petr Pavel announced that the crown jewels had been returned to the Crown Chamber and secured behind seven locks. Pavel said 36,600 people visited to see the jewels.
Czech President Petr Pavel announced that the country’s crown jewels had been returned to the Crown Chamber together with the other key holders.
Pavel said in a statement, “Today, together with the other key holders, we returned the crown jewels to the Crown Chamber and locked all seven locks behind them.”
Thanking the visitors, Pavel said, “I thank the 36,600 visitors who came to see them and, in doing so, remembered a part of our history.”
