Qatar’s Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a phone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan regarding the regional diplomatic agenda.

According to a statement by Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, relations between the two countries and regional diplomatic initiatives were discussed during the call.

The statement said the two sides reviewed mediation efforts led by Pakistan involving both the United States and Iran, while also discussing coordination aimed at reducing tensions and supporting regional security and stability.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani stated: “Dialogue and diplomacy are essential for addressing the root causes of the crisis and reaching a lasting agreement that will prevent further escalation.”
