Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani held a phone call with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Noël Barrot.

During the call, the two sides discussed bilateral cooperation and ways to further strengthen it.

They also reviewed the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in Lebanon and diplomatic efforts to promote security and stability in the region following the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
