Qatar and Saudi Arabia emphasize coordination on Lebanon
Doha, June 15 (Hibya) - Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi met in Riyadh with Prince Yazid bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al Farhan, Advisor to the Saudi Foreign Minister for Lebanese Affairs.
According to a statement issued by Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and enhancing coordination on matters of mutual interest.
The two sides also reviewed the latest developments in Lebanon and the ongoing joint efforts related to the Lebanese file. The statement noted that the meeting reflects the continued cooperation between Doha and Riyadh in support of regional stability.
During the meeting, Al-Khulaifi reiterated Qatar's support for Lebanon, stating that “the State of Qatar continues its longstanding support for Lebanon and remains committed to standing by the Lebanese people.”
