Prevot: We hope for the signing of a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia
Brussels, March 31 (Hibya) - Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot held a phone call with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Prevot spoke with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and thanked Azerbaijan for its support in evacuating Belgian citizens from Iran.
Prevot stated that developments in the Middle East were also discussed during the meeting, saying: “We assessed the importance of de-escalation in the region and the need to strengthen multilateral cooperation in this regard.”
Referring to the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Prevot said: “We hope that the peace agreement will be signed as soon as possible.”
