Prevot: Democratic Republic of Congo-Belgium partnership rests on solid foundations
Brussels, September 18 (Hibya) – Belgian Foreign Minister Maxime Prevot discussed relations between the two countries, economic cooperation and the situation in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo with President of the Democratic Republic of Congo Felix Tshisekedi.

Commenting on the meeting, Prevot said, “We had an excellent meeting with President Tshisekedi. We discussed our bilateral and economic relations, our cooperation within the framework of the Green Corridor, the situation in the eastern part of the country and ongoing mediation efforts.”
Prevot stated that the prospects for national dialogue and planned measures to strengthen national unity were also discussed during the meeting, adding, “The Democratic Republic of Congo-Belgium partnership rests on solid foundations, and our shared intention is to develop it further.”
